The 31st ADFIAP Annual Meeting held in Tehran hosted by Bank of Industry and Mine

87 delegates from ADFIAP members of 18 countries and a number of invited guests convened in Esteghlal Hotel, Tehran, Iran as of April 28 to May 1, 2008. Besides of Foreign-Based Organizations, Bank of Keshavarzi (locally-based organization) and the United Nations were attended in the Meeting. The numbers of the delegates were increased from 87 to 92 in the 31st ADFIAP Annual Meeting.

Dr. Mehdi Razavi, CEO and Chairman of the Board formally opened the event and gave the welcome remarks.

The conference theme: "Innovative Development Finance: DFI's response to the needs of the Times". It was expressed with various relevant topics as follows:
Innovative Strategies/Business Models, Innovative Polices and Practices, Innovative Financial Products, Innovative Solutions and Emerging Trends.

In the first day of these 3 days of Annual Meeting, an agreement on consultation and regional cooperation was signed between ADFIAP and Development Bank of Kazakhstan (DBK).
The 32nd ADFIAP Annual Meetings will be held in Muscat, Oman to be hosted by the Oman Development Bank (ODB).
